Résumé: إنّ العرب كغيرهم كان لهم الحظ الوافر في أدب الرّحلة، غير أنّ الرّحالة لا نجده يوظف في المدونة الرّحلية الوصف فقط وسرده للأحداث، بل نجده يضفي على الواقع شيئاً من خياله، وبالتالي يؤدي الخيال دوراً كبيراً في المتن الرّحلي، كما نجده يوظف العجائبي، هذا الأخير الّذي اتخذ جانباً مهماً في النص الرّحلي، وعليه جاءت هذه الدراسة لتسلط الضوء على تجليات العجائبيّة من خلال كتاب "رسالة ابن فضلان في وصف الرّحلة إلى بلاد الترك والخزر والروس والصَّقالبة"، وقد خلصت الدراسة على نتائج أهمها: حضور قوي للعجائبية في النص الرّحلي المختار The Arabs, like others, had great luck in travel literature, but we do not find the traveler employing only description and narration of events, in trip text records. However, we find him adding some of fiction from his imagination to the reality. Consequently, imagination plays a major role in the trip text, as we find him employing the fantastic. The latter, which took an important part in the travel text. Accordingly, this study came to shed light on the fantastic manifestations through the book of “Ibn Fadlan’s Epistle in Description of the trip to the Lands of the Turks, the Khazars, the Russians, and the Saqalibs”. Thus, the study results a strange fantastic presence in the chosen travel text
