Résumé: This thesis explains the drilling program, focusing on the processes and techniques involved in drilling and aims to explain simply what the drilling program is: how it affects the drilling process and to make it more understandable we supported it with the drilling program of the well “TOU-15” in Gassi Touil Gas field, made by Sonatrach’s engineers. The thesis covered all the angles to make the drilling operation faster and more safe, from the location of the well. The geological data includes the lithological formations. The full detailed casing program. The bit program of every hole. The timeline relating to the time needed to complete every single section hole. The Pre-spud checklist to make the drilling operation safe in all respects (Environment, People, Equipment) and Finally the well control (BOP+Wellhead pressure test) to make sure there is no drilling problem that will face the operation.
