Résumé: ملخص:هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف على مستوى نوعية الحياة لدى مرضى السكري والفروق في نوعية الحياة التي تعزى لنوع السكري، والجنس، والسن. تكونت عينة الدراسة من 100 مريض ومريضة من المصابين بداء السكري (33) ذكور و(67) إناث. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي المقارن، ومقياس نوعية الحياة المختصر لمنظمة الصحة العالمية. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى نوعية الحياة مرتفع لدى مرضى السكري بينما لم يكن هناك فروق دالة إحصائيا في نوعية الحياة تبعا لمتغير نوع السكري، والجنس، والسن. الكلمات المفتاحية: نوعية الحياة؛ مرضى السكري؛ نوع السكري؛ جنس؛ سن. Abstract:This study aimed to reveal the quality of life level and differences attributed to the type of diabetes and some sociodemographic variables gender and age. The sample of the study consisted of 100 diabetic patients, (33) male and (67) female.to achieve the objectives of the study the reasercher relied on the descriptive comparative method and used the short world health organization quality of life scale (whoqol-brief). Results revealed a high level of quality of life for diabetic patients and no statically significant differences in the quality of life .due to the variables of diabetes type,gender and age .Keywords:quality of life; diabetic patients; diabetes type; gender; age
