Résumé: ملخّص: لقد كان لعلماء العرب المسلمين إسهامات بارزة في بناء علم مناهج البحث العلمي في مختلف المجالات العلمية؛ حيث تعدّدت بتعدّد المجالات العلمية، ورغبة منّا في التّعرف على واقع المنهجية البحثية لدى علماء المسلمين، قصدنا إثارة قضية أصالة المنهج العلمي للمسلمين من وجهة نظر المستشرقين الذين أسهموا في إبرازها وأفاضوا فيها البحث بالدّرس والتّحليل، فألّفوا فيها كتبا و على رأسهم فرانتز روزنتال في كتابه ( مناهج العلماء المسلمين في البحث العلمي ) الذي رصد من خلاله نظرة العالم المسلم إلى المشكلات الأساسية الّتي تتعلق بالبحث العلمي ،أساليبه و طرائقه، وهو الأمر الذي أثار فينا عدّة تساؤلات نحو: ماهي نظرة العالم المسلم إلى المشكلات المهمة المتصلة بالبحث العلمي؟ و هل كان لدى العلماء العرب منهج علمي واضح الأصول ؟ و ما الإشكالية الأساس التّي تناولها كتابه؟ كلمات مفتاحيّة: مناهج البحث؛ مستشرقون؛ عرب؛ تحليل؛ مسلمون. Abstract: Arab Muslim scholars have contributed in the construction of the scientific research approaches in different scientific fields, and these contributions have multiplied as the range of scientific fields expanded. In order to help us getting acquainted with the reality of the research methodology among Muslim scholars, we intended to raise the issue of Muslims’ scientific approach authenticity from the point of view of Orientalists who contributed to highlighting it, hence abounded their research in it through study and analysis. Moreover, they have written books about the issue, headed by Frantz Rosenthal in his book Methods of Muslim Scholars in Scientific Research through which he monitored the view of the Muslim scholar on the fundamental problems related to scientific research, its styles and methods, this let us raise many questions towards as : What is the Muslim scholar’s view of the important problems related to scientific research? And did Arab scholars have a scientific approach of clear origins? And this is what the main problem addressed in his book?
