Etudes Statistique Sur Les Infections Urinaires Et Ethnobotanique Des Plantes Médicinales Utilisées Dans Leur Traitement Au Niveau De La Wilaya D’adrar
Résumé: Urinary tract infections are a real public health problem in terms of their frequency and difficulty to treat. There are four types of urinary tract infection: cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, and prostatitis. The diagnosis of urinary tract infection is based on the clinical urine tests (ECBU) with the detection of bacteria that cause this infection and the study of their sensitivity to different antibiotics (Antibiogram). During our study, we were able to identify eight bacteria responsible for urinary tract infection: Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp., Cytobacter spp., Pseudomonas spp., Enterobacter spp., Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes and a yeast Candida albicans. We also noted that Escherichia coli is the most common type of bacteria causing this infection and its percentage was estimated at about (31%), and that the most effectif antibiotics against her was ciprofloxacine, amikacine and nalidixic acid, while the antibiotics that are ineffective are amoxicillin and ampicilline. We found that females were most affected by urinary tract infections (71.36%), and the age group between 25 and 35 years appeared to be most affected (41.03%). We found also that the population of Adrar and Reggane frequently used mugwort and lavender as an alternative medicinal treatment against this disease, and their proportions were recorded in order (13.3%) and (10.8%).
