Valorisation Des Fibres Métalliques Issues Des Déchets Pneumatiques Dans Les Bétons De Sable De Dunes

Résumé: Materials with base of cement, in occurrence the concrete or the classic mortar resist badly to the traction. This fragility becomes more marked especially in hot dry environments, such as the Saharan zones of our country. The classic concrete in these last environments present deficiencies in term of resistances and cracking, for several climatic conditions. Indeed, constructions in these climates are very fragile. To remedy to these abnormalities, the reinforcement of materials by fibres can offer some technical solutions, to improve these mechanical and rheological performances. The Saharan regions possess enormous layer of sand dunes, and contain very important industrial activities, under the influence of these activities emanate a lot of industrial waste among others the worn-out tires. This pneumatic waste is at present exploited only in a traditional way in the alimentation of ovens, for the manufacture of plaster, as source of energy, the steel fibres stemming from this operation are neglected in the nature. The use of this waste as reinforcement in concretes can present at the same moment, a suitable solution to improve mechanical and rheological performances of the composite, and means of defense for the environment. The objective of this search is a contribution to the valorization of the pneumatic waste and the dunes sand in the field of the construction. In this study will be presented mechanical (flexion, compression) and rheologicol (shrinkage) characteristics of the dunes sand concretes reinforced by steel fibres stemming from worn-out tires
