Digital Transformation And Its Impact On The Performance Of Commercial Banks In Algeria - A Case Study Of The Payment Systems Services Index During The Period (2016 - 2023)
Résumé: The current study seeks to demonstrate the impact of digital transformation on the performance of Algerian commercial banks during the period (2016 - 2023), with a focus on analyzing the evolution of payment system service indicators. The findings of this study reveal that Algeria remains significantly behind in the adoption of digital transformation within the banking sector. The remnants of digital transformation in Algeria are primarily limited to online withdrawal and payment systems using electronic cards and ATMs. These developments have recently gained significant traction among individuals.
