Etude Et Modélisation Des Congestions Dans Les Réseaux Mpls
Résumé: In this study, we are interested in a management of congestion in networks. This congestion problem represents the main obstacle to the quality of service imposed by the emergence of new communications services such as voice over IP or videoconferencing. As the IP protocol is not suitable for managing congestion, MPLS networks have become the most widely used networks in operator structures. These allow the use of traffic engineering to avoid congestion and improve traffic transport. This requires the need for traffic engineering and quality of service (QoS). The main characteristic of traffic engineering is to control routing to optimize the use of resources and the performance of the network, while ensuring quality of service. The main objective of this thesis is the proposal of a new congestion management algorithm in traffic engineering mechanisms, in particular in MPLS networks. This new technique is the result of an in-depth study of the behavior of congestion on a simulation model representing an operator's MPLS network. The study was also carried out on the OMNET simulator
