Résumé: شكل مرجان مدينة القالة فرعا أساسيا من فروع التجارة الدولية في الجزائر خلال القرن (4-13هـ/10-19م)، وهذا لتوفرها على شعاب مرجانية هائلة، والذي يعتبر من أجود المرجان في العالم، و كان للمدينة دور كبير في ترويج وتجارة وصناعة هذه المادة التي أسالت لعابهم، مما جعله يحظى باهتمام جل التجار الأوربيين، فمدينة القالة وحصنها الفرنسي ووكالات تجارة المرجان أوجدت حركة اقتصادية نشيطة خاصة خلال القرن 15م و16م، فأصبحت أسواق مدن بايلك الشرق من أغنى الأسواق في شمال إفريقيا، وصدر مرجان القالة إلى مختلف أنحاء العالم كمرسيليا، والهند والصين وايطاليا وغيرها، وتهدف فكرة البحث الى توضيح أهمية مدينة القالة خلال الفترة الاسلامية حتى بداية الفترة الاستعمارية في استغلال وتجارة هذه المادة، التي أصبحت قبلة للتجار، فلما لا يتم فتح مجال لاستغلال المرجان في هذه المدينة مرة أخرى للنهوض بالاقتصاد الوطني. The coral of El Kala, formed an essential branch of international trade in Algeria during 10/19 AD, which brought it the attention of most European merchants, and the city played a big role in the promotion, trade and manufacture of this material, and it is one of the finest corals in the world. The town of El Kala and its French stronghold and coral trading agencies created an active economic movement, especially during the 15th and 16th centuries. Markets in the eastern towns of Bailk have become one of the richest markets in North Africa. Through this conference, we will try to shed light on the importance of the city of El Kala during the Islamic period until the beginning of the colonial period in the field of exploitation and trade in coral, and why not open the way to the exploitation of coral again to advance the national economy.
