Résumé: تتصدّى هذه الورقة العلمية بالبحث لمعالجة إشكالية طبيعة الأدوار العسكرية التي اضطلعت بها مدينة مليانة ببلاد المغرب الأوسط خلال القرنين 4-5ه/ 10-11م، وبشكل مركّز خلال فترة الحكم الصنهاجي الزيري-الحمادي. وذلك بناءً على ما يحوزه المجال الملياني من مقومات طبيعية دفاعية-وقائية، ومؤهلات صناعية ثابتة ومتنقلة، وأسلحة مادية وبشرية. كما تعرّج بالدراسة على جانب من إسهاماتها الاقتصادية نظير ما تمتلكه من قواعد تجارية بمكوناتها الفاعلة من أسواق ومسالك وجيوب تجارية؛ التي تُشكّل قواما هاما في مسيرة الدعم العسكري ومعولا رئيسا في بناء ترسانته. وهذا على اعتبار أنّ مدينة مليانة تمثّل أحد الموارد الغزيرة التي ما فتئت تلجا إليها القيادة الصنهاجية (الزيرية-الحمادية) لدعم المنظومة الاقتصادية، وتشييد الحصانة الدفاعية والأسلحة الهجومية، وتلبية حاجات الاقتصاد الحربي ومتطلباته المالية، في مساعيها الحربية الدفاعية والهجومية. This research paper aims at studying and analyzing the issue of the nature of military roles played by Miliana city in the Middle Maghreb during the centuries 4-5 AH / 10-11 AD, more particularly during the period of the Sanhaji Zirid-Hammadi rule. And that is Based on the natural defensive-protective elements, the fixed and mobile industrial qualifications, the physical and human weapons that the field of Miliana possesses. It also studies a part of its economic contributions, considering its trade bases and its active elements such as markets and trade routes, which make the basis for military support. This is in mind that Miliana city form one of the copious recourses to which the Sanhaji (Zirid-Hammadi) state often recourses in order to support the economic system, and the construction of defensive immunity and offensive weapons, and to meet the needs of the war economy and financial requirements, in its defense and offensive war efforts.
