Evaluation De L’activité Antifongique Des Extraits Aqueux Et Methanoulique D’une Plante Endémique De La Wilaya D’adrar Contre La Maladie De Bayoud
Résumé: The objective of this work is to valorize spontaneous plants of medicinal nature of the Algerian Sahara. A phytochemical and biological study of an endemic plant in the Adrar wilaya: Centaurea pungens was carried out. Extraction of the aerial part of this plant was made with water, methanol, under Soxhlet, which gave us yields of about 15-17%. Phytochemical screening showed the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, lipids and steroids. The methanolic extract of centaurea pungens showed good antioxidant activity (IC50 =1196.46g/mL) relative to the aqueous extract (IC50 =1637.86g/mL) using the DPPH free radical scavenging method. The antifungal activity of Centaurea pungens was determined on the fungus Fusarium Oxysporum f. sp. Albedinis, who gave us no activity.
