Résumé: the performance of the local administration, as we took the workers of the municipality of Al-Maqarin as a model, and to see if there were differences in the attitudes due to the variables (gender, seniority,academic level ). To carry out this study, we relied on the exploratory descriptive approach because it is the most appropriate for this purpose. To collect data, a tool was adopted to measure and reveal the nature of attitudes about human resource management. It was applied to a sample of (100) male and female workers in the municipality of Al-Maqarin, who were randomly selected, and after data collection and unloading, statistical processing was carried out using the statistical program for social sciences (spss20). The results of the study resulted in the following: - Workers' attitudes towards the role of human resources management in developing the administration's performance in the municipality of Al-Maqarin are positive. - There are no statistically significant differences in workers' attitudes towards the role of human resource management in developing the performance of local administration due to the gender variable. - There are no statistically significant differences in workers' attitudes towards the role of human resources management in developing the performance of local administration due to the seniority variable. - There are no statistically significant differences in the attitudes of workers towards the role of human resources management in developing the performance of the local administration attributed to the variable type of certificate. Finally, the results were discussed and interpreted according to some previous studies and the opinion of the student, and concluded with a number of proposals.
