Résumé: Study summary: The study aimed to discover the extent of the role of the local radio in sensitizing the local community to the seriousness of traffic accidents for a sample of road users in the state of Medea. Main axes, as for the chapters, we relied on three chapters, the first chapter in which we talked about the methodological aspect of the study, the second chapter was about the local radio and traffic accidents and also awareness campaigns about traffic accidents, and the third and final chapter talks about the practical side of the results of the study Which concluded: 1- The majority of drivers in the wilayat of Medea are exposed to the information campaigns on traffic awareness, which are broadcast on the Al Medea Regional Radio. 2- The majority of drivers in the state of Medea believe that it is necessary to present the media campaigns related to traffic awareness which are broadcasted on the Medea Regional Radio in the colloquial language and rely on the method of martyrdom so that the public is more convinced. 3- The media campaigns broadcast on Al-Medea regional radio and traffic awareness have a great impact on the public of drivers in the state, as it strengthened their sense of responsibility and eliminated some of their negative behaviors while driving.
