Résumé: This study aims to shed light on the impact of oil price fluctuations on monetary stability in Algeria during the period 2001-2021, focusing on inflation indicators, real exchange rate, and the monetary stability coefficient, by studying the effect of oil price volatility on them. The analytical and empirical methods were employed, relying on the simple linear regression model to interpret the impact.Through the analytical and empirical study, we found that oil prices have a positive impact on the monetary stability coefficient and inflation, while they have a negative impact on the real effective exchange rate in Algeria. Additionally, a causal relationship between oil prices and monetary stability indicators in Algeria was identified.
