Résumé: ملخص: شكلت الثورة العربية الكبرى بارقة أمل جديدة للعرب لإرساء معالم دولة عربية فتية بقيادة الشريف حسين الذي جمع بين الفكر والتطبيق والذكاء والفطنة حيث وضع نصب عينيه التحرير والاستقلال ثم الوحدة العربية وهو ما تجلى في مراحل ومعارك الثورة العربية ولكن اصطدم بالذكاء والخداع البريطاني الذي استخدم العرب لتحقيق مصالحه بالقضاء على العثمانيين عن طريقهم ووضع العراقيل في طريقهم في سبيل عدم توحدهم ودليل ذلك وعد بلفور. Abstract: The Great Arab Revolution agave a new glimmer of hope for the Arabs to establish the features of a youthful Arab state under the leadership of Sharif Hussein, who combined thought, application, intelligence and acumen, as he set his sights on revolt and independence and then Arab unity, which was evident in the stages and battles of the Arab revolution, but all of which collided with the British deceiving intelligence that exploited the Arabs to achieve their interests by using them in eliminating the Ottomans, and creating obstacles to hinder their path towards unity best exemplified the Balfour Declaration
