Résumé: The opening of the audiovisual sector in Algeria was the result of external pressures, that enabled the appearance of the Media Law 2012, which works on the organization of the media work according to terms and conditions determined by the censorship imposed by the authority of the control authority included in the audiovisual law, which are still view local satellite channels as foreign. Through the study, we applied the in-depth interpretive tool with (15) respondents, )05( editors and )10( journalists. The study showed that the media practice is under pressure due to the deletion of the legal article that enables the journalist to access the sources of information, and there are also many laws which has several explanations so thereby weakening it and makes them serve the authoritarian system. Also, the authority of the control is politicized by virtue of prior political appointments; it serves the political system and does not organize the sector.
