Résumé: تحمل قلعة بني حماد، الواقعة في المسيلة (الجزائر)،قيمة تاريخية ورمزية كبيرة، باعتبارها عاصمة الدولة الحمادية. فمن خلال أوصاف المؤرخين والجغرافيين، والرحالة الذين زاروا قلعة بني حماد في العصور الوسطى، يمكننا الحصول على معلومات تاريخية قيمة حول الثقافات، والمجتمعات المختلفة التي عاشت في هذه المنطقة. فهذه النصوص التاريخية والجغرافية تقدم لنا رؤى حول الأماكن التي تمت زيارتها والأشخاص الذين تمت مقابلتهم والجوانب الثقافية والتاريخية لتلك المناطق. لذلك، تعتبر هذه المصادر مهمة لفهم تطور المجتمعات وتشكيل الهويات. كما أنها تقدم وجهات نظر حول العلاقات بين الثقافات المختلفة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يمكن استخدام هذه الأوصاف لرسم خرائط حول تطور عمران القلعة، وطرق السفر وتحليل ديناميكيات العمران ومسارات الرحلات، مما يوفر فهما أعمق لمتغيرات المجال المناخية والعمرانية، والثقافية المرتبطة بأوصاف الرحالة والجغرافيون العرب. الكلمات المفتاحية: قلعة بني حماد-الأوصاف-الحضارة-الجغرافيون-المؤرخون. Abstract : The citadel of Beni Hammad (al-Qalʻah) in Algeria has significant historical and symbolic value as the capital of the Hammadid dynasty. Through the descriptions of historians, geographers and travelers who visited the fortress in the Middle Ages, we gain valuable historical insights into the cultures and societies that inhabited this region. These historical and geographical texts offer perspectives on the places visited, the people they encountered and the cultural and historical aspects of these areas. Therefore, these sources are crucial for understanding the development of societies and the formation of identities. They also provide insights into the interactions between different cultures. In addition, these descriptions can be used to map the architectural development of the fort and travel routes and to analyze urban dynamics and travel patterns. This enables a deeper understanding of the climatic, urban and cultural variables associated with the Arab travelers' descriptions.
