Résumé: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز مدى مساهمة الطاقات المتجددة في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة على مستوى العالم، فقد سعت دول العالم لتحقيق وتجسيد مفهوم التنمية المستدامة من خلال تبني الاعتماد على استغلال الطاقات المتجددة كبديل للطاقة التقليدية المسببة للتدهور البيئي واستنزاف الموارد الطبيعية. توصلت الدراسة إلى أن معظم دول العالم حققت تقدما ملحوظا في مجال الإنتاج من الطاقات المتجددة خاصة في مجال توليد الكهرباء هذا ولاسيما في ظل انخفاض تكاليف الطاقات المتجددة خاصة الطاقة الشمسية وطاقة الرياح منها، وهذا راجع للتطور التكنولوجي الحديث، وقد كانت دولة الصين، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وألمانيا رائدة في مجال الاستثمار في الطاقات المتجددة، .
