أثر التضخم على النمو الإقتصادي في الجزائر (1990-2020)
Résumé: This study aims to measure the impact of inflation on economic growth in Algeria using a time series extended from (1990-2020), using the ARDL model. To know the statistical characteristics of the variables under study first, and to test the co-integration between these variables secondly, and then analyze the causal relationship between economic growth and inflation. It also clarified that there is a co-integration between economicgrowth and independent variables. There is also a statistically significant presence of the model between inflation and economic growth with the presence of the inflation threshold atthe level of 6%. The study also recommends the monetary authorities, especially the Central Bank, to follow a monetary policy aimed at reducing inflation rates and making them less than the estimated threshold level, in order to maintain economic stability in Algeria.
