Analyses Physico-chimiques Des Produits Petroliers Des Differentes Raffineries En Algerie : Identification Et Etude Comparative

Résumé: The study of analysis and characterization of crude oil and petroleum products is important in the petroleum industry, and more specifically in the refining process. It helps to understand the physic-chemical properties of crude oil, as well as the quality of petroleum products. The petroleum refining process yields a wide variety of petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel, kerosene and naphtha. Analyzing the properties of these products provides useful information about the efficiency of the separation process. This work focuses on the analysis and identification of petroleum products from three refining units in Algeria, namely the refinery of Hassi Messaoud, BERAKI (ALGIERS) and SBAA (ADRAR). The comparative study aims to assess the efficiency of these refining units and to confirm the quality of the refined products for each unit. The techniques of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) are used for the analysis of petroleum product samples. The analysis results confirm the efficiency of the separation process for the three refining units in Algeria, and provide information on the quality of petroleum products in terms of chemical composition, which contributes to the improvement of production processes in the Algerian oil industry. Also, this study approves the performance of the petroleum products obtained satisfying the standards and regulations concerning fuels.
