Résumé: شهدت الكتابات التاريخية التي تناولت تاريخ الأندلس طوال القرون الثمان التي شغلها الوجود الإسلامي في بعض أجزاء شبه الجزيرة الأيبيرية ، نشاطاً ملموساً في الجانب البحثي ، بيد أنَّهُ لا يزال الغموض يكتنف الكثير منها ولا سيما ما يتعلق بحدود أو امتداد الوجود الإسلامي في مناطق شبه الجزيرة الأيبيرية ولا سيما المناطق الشمالية من أسبانيا النصرانية وتحديداً منطقة اشتوريس Asturias التي ظلت في حكم المجهول في الكتابات التاريخية الإسلامية بسبب قلة المعلومات التاريخية حول تلك المرحلة التأسيسية من عمر مملكة اشتوريس Asturias . إذ نالت هذهِ المنطقة شهرة واسعة في الكتابات التاريخية الأسبانية كونها المنطقة الأولى التي شهدت انطلاق أول حركة مقاومة للوجود الإسلامي في شبه الجزيرة الأيبيرية عُرفت بحركة الاسترداد الاسبانية (الريكونيكيستا) Al Reconquista (98-897ه/ 717-1492م) ، تزعمها القائد الثوري المدعو بلاي Pelay ، الذي كان ولا يزال محل قداسة واحترام من قبل الباحثين الأسبان ، إذ كان لهُ دورٌ كبيرٌ في تأسيس هذهِ الحركة التي أخذ قادتها على عاتقهم مهمة قومية كبرى تمثلت بمقارعة الوجود الإسلامي في شبه الجزيرة الأيبيرية ، وإنهاءهِ من كامل التراب الأيبيري ، علماً أنّ هذهِ الحركة مرت بأكثر من دور قبل أنّ تتبلور وتفرض نفسها ، فأتسعَ نطاقها وتعززت أركانها ، واتخذت مخططات شاملة محكمة استطاعت من خلالها تحقيق نجاحات عسكرية كبرى مستغلة ضعف الكيان السياسي في الأندلس الإسلامية . ومن هنا انبثقت أهمية الموضوع كونه من المواضيع المختلف عليه عند جمهور الباحثين ولا سيما في ما يتعلق بتفسير مصطلح الاسترداد وتحديد سنوات انطلاقهِ ، لذا جاءت هذهِ الدراسة لتكشف النقاب عن حقبة تاريخية مهمة استطعنا أن نحدد ما هية الاسترداد ومفهومهِ كونه حركة وطنية كانت اسبانيا وما تزال تعظمها وتتغنى بها إلى يومنا هذا . This region became famous in Spanish historical writings as the first region to witness the first movement of resistance to the Islamic presence in the Iberian Peninsula known as the Spanish Reconquista (98-897 / 717-1492), led by the revolutionary leader called Pelay He was, and still is, the subject of holiness and respect by the Spanish researchers, as he had a great role in the establishment of this movement, whose leaders took upon them a major national task of combating the Islamic presence in the Iberian Peninsula and ending it from the entire Iberian territory.
