Résumé: The position of the Great Powers towards the Algerian revolution explain their reactions towards the Maghreb and more exactly Algeria, these political position can explain the competition between them to monopolized the wealth which Algeria is considered as the most important. In the same object we must remind that the studies about the American politic has emphasized on the real positions of the USA in the Maghreb, the ones concerning Algeria has created a break among the other powers.
