تأثير إدمان الألعاب الإلكترونية على عملية الإدراك لدى تلاميذ الطور الثانوي

Résumé: The current study aimed to find out the level of influence of electronic game addiction on the cognition process among secondary school student, That is, is there a relationship between the levels of addiction games and the level of cognition among high school students. Also knowing the differences between the level of addiction of males and females studding in secondary school. The study was applied to sample of (81) students, with (36) male student at the level of KHALID BIN ZMIRLI secondary schools, and (45) female students at the level of ABDUL KARIM FAKHAR secondary school. And AHMED ORWA secondary school for Girls. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach of a correlational nature was followed, using the electronic games addiction scale among adolescents by the researcher (Niveen Hassan Saad Shaker, 2023) and the mental abilities test in its tenth part. Which specializes in measuring the ability to perceive drawings and shapes by the researcher (Abdul Rahman Suleiman AL – Tariri,1999). to answer the study questions and verify the validity of the hypotheses. Statistical methods were used based on the statistical pakage for social sciences (spss) program (arithmetic mean – standard – Pearson correlation coefficient, tests for differences) the study found that there is no effect of addiction to electronic games on the cognitive process among secondary school students, it also found that there are differences in the level of addiction to electronic games in favor of males.
