L’influence Du Comportement Des Usagers Sur L’efficacité De La Ventilation Naturelle Des Habitations.

Résumé: The climate in the region of Tizi Ouzou is more moist than before, this is due to the dam of Taksept (7 km east of the city of Tizi Ouzou), especially during summer. In spite f the fact that the inhabitants buy air-conditioners, they continue to complain about the hot temperature and high level of damp. This study deals with the inhabitants and the way they use the natural ventilation to improve their comfort and well-being inside their flats in order to evaluate their knowledge of the natural ventilation and understand their behaviour. The quarter of M’douha in Tizi Ouzou, exposed to dominant winds, seems to be an interesting sample for study to our investigation. The discussion of the results has revealed that though the air-conditioning is much appreciated, the natural ventilation remain the inhabitants favourite means of refreshing for its economic reasons as well as the comfort it provides. However, some notions are still abstract for people such as the sweeping effect or the importance of the windows of the bathroom and toilet. In fact, air conditioning is used with more precaution to reduce the cost of electricity consumption and to preserve the apparatus. The later is used few hours a day only especially in the afternoon and at night.
