Résumé: Fiction for young adults is very important for the intellectual, literary and critical structuring of a literature that contributes to the education of young people and inspires in them the love of knowledge and creativity. It is a genre written by young adults to express their thoughts, aspirations and dreams without coercion or influence; and is one of the most important genres in modern literature. This study attempts to discover the aesthetics of artistic storytelling in the aforementioned genre, and the extent to which its characteristics and properties are present in Mohamed Abd El-Hafeed's novel "The Thief". For this, we relied on a structural approach and divided the study of a summary, an introduction and two sections; the first of which is entitled: Theoretical notions related to children's literature, and the second: The artistic patterns in the novel "La Thief".
