Résumé: تتميز التجارة في جنوب الجزائر بإنتقال البضائع عبر المسالك الصحراوية طوال أشهر العام، الأمر الذي يتطلب توفير الأمن والسلامة للتجار والبضائع عبر طرق القوافل التي تبدأ من شمال الجزائر إلى غاية الحدود الصحراوية الجنوبية للجزائر. إلا أن التهديدات الأمنية التي عرفتها منذ عام 2011 والناتجة عن إندلاع الأزمة الليبية أثر على أمن الحدود الشرقية لصحراء الجزائر من خلال تسلل الإرهابيين وتفشي مظاهر الجريمة المنظمة وحرب العصابات مما كبد التجار خسائر كبيرة Trade in southern Algeria is characterized by the movement of goods through desert routes over the months of the year, which requires the security and safety of traders and goods via caravans from northern Algeria to the southern desert border of Algeria.
