Résumé: This study aims to measure and analyze the phenomenon of faltering in Algerian banking system , and ‎then find out the methods that work on the effective management of this problem and to achieve this studythat ‎was divided into theoretical and practical sides . It turned out in the framework of theoretical analysis to the ‎problem of managing the banking tripping require concerted and integration of a range of methods and ‎strategies , and banking governance is the most important of these methods and mechanisms used for the ‎prevention of this phenomenon and avoid occurrence. ‎‏ ‏‎ ‎ The study of the practical side indicated that the stumble management methodology in the Algerian ‎banking system is limited to the functions of each of the Banking Committee by initial taking preventive ‎measures (banking governance) to ensure the continued activity of the bank, and disciplinary action when the ‎note of irregularities or evidence of a serious error which leads To require an approval of troubled bank liquidation; such as, what happened with the Caliph Bank and ‎Industrial and Commercial Bank of Algeria. In addition to apply the decisions and the work of the Basel ‎Committee, which represents an important opportunity to lay the foundations for sound corporate governance ‎in banks and financial institutions requirements, in order to provide a safe banking practices and reasonable ‎contribute to support financial stability and banking in Algeria.‎
