الواقع الصحي للجزائر العثمانية من خلال المصادر الأوربية Health Status Of Ottoman Algeria Through European Sources :

Résumé: الملخص : لم تهتم السلطة العثمانية بالجزائر بالمجال الصحي ، مما أثر سلبا على الأحوال الصحية للمجتمع الجزائري من خلال انتشار الأمراض و الأوبئة المختلفة على مدار الوجود العثماني بالجزائر ( 1519-1830م)، وهذا باعتراف كل المصادر المحلية و الأجنبية ، ركّزنا في هذا البحث على بعض المصادر الأوربية ، أصحابها كانوا قناصل و أسرى ورحالة عاشوا فترة من الزمن بين أوساط المجتمع الجزائري و دوّنوا ما لاحظوه و ما كان يعاني منه السكان في كل الجوانب خاصة المجال الصحي ، كما ركّزنا أساسا على أخطر وباء تتعرض إليه الجزائر يتمثل في الطاعون ، أسبابه ، مصادره ، و انعكاساته الاقتصادية و الاجتماعية وما هي الوسائل المنتهجة لمواجهة هذا الوباء من قبل السلطة العثمانية والمجتمع الجزائري . Summary : The Ottoman authorities in Algeria did not care about the health field, which negatively affected the health conditions of the Algerian society through the spread of various diseases and epidemics throughout the Ottoman presence in Algeria(1519-1830). This is in recognition of all domestic and foreign sources, and the focus of this research was on some European sources, of which they were consuls, prisoners, and travelers who lived for a period of time among Algerian society and noted what they observed and what the population was suffering from in all aspects, especially the health field . We also focused mainly on the most serious epidemic to which Algeria is exposed, which is the Plague, its causes, its sources, its economic and social repercussions, and what are the means adopted to confront this epidemic by the Ottoman authorities and Algerian society.
