Résumé: This study aimed to reveal the nature of the image of the teacher in Algerian TV commercials using a semiological analysis approach, relying on Roland Barthes' analysis method. The analysis was conducted on a purposive sample represented by the advertisement "Chiouawa." The main question of the study was: What is the image of the teacher in Algerian TV commercials? And what are its manifestations in the advertisement "Chiouawa"? This question branched out into three sub-questions. To answer these, the study was divided into two chapters: the first focusing on the methodological framework and the second on the practical framework. The study concluded with the general results, highlighting that the teacher was employed as a central figure in the advertisement, with an appearance rate exceeding 80% of the advertisement time.
