Extraction Et Activité Antioxydant Des Huiles Essentielles De La Plante Ruta Chalepensis L
Résumé: This work focused on extracting essential oils from ruta chalepensis harvested from the ADRAR area with a Clevenger. The objective of our study is to identify some physical and chemical markers, DPPH antioxidant activities, and TLC chromatography analysis of extracted oils. Essential.oils are oily in appearance, green in yellow, a special smell of plant material, and bitter taste. Our essential.oil yields 0.051%, which is different from the literature. This respect may be due to the influence of factors such as climate and soil, technical factors, etc. Analysis of the chromatography of the main layer shows that this oil contains four components. This analysis gives an initial idea of the quantitative properties of oils from the plant in question. The DPPH activity shows that this aromatic oil shows an antioxidant activity with EC50 ranging from 0 to 0.2 mg/mL. From the results obtained, we concluded that the essential oils of the Ruta chalepensis plant have remarkable organoleptic characteristics with a more potent anti-radical activity.
