Résumé: The study aims to measure the impact of bank financing for small and medium enterprises on the profitability of banks using annual data for segmental time series (Panel data) for sample of five Algerian banks during the period (2011-2020). Using the programming language R and depending on the statistical program Eviews. The lending rate has been identified as variable for bank financing for small and medium entreprises, while the rate of return on equity was chosen as a profitability variable, the results of the studyshowed a positive impact between the bank financing and the rate of return on equity and that the random-effects model was best suited for the sample banks of the study
