Résumé: تعد الطفولة أولى المراحل التي يمر بها الإنسان وهي ذات أهمية بالغة في حباته لأن طفل اليوم هو رجل الغد ،والذي يجب أن يحظى بالكثير من الرعاية والحماية لكن رغم ذلك نجد العديد من الأطفال يتعرضون لظروف قاسية كالفقر وانعدام الأمن مما يساهم في تفشي ظاهرة عمالة الأطفال و التي لا تعد ظاهرة غريبة عند بعض الأسر لأنها تزيد من دخل الأسرة و تحسن أوضاعها المادية لكنها في الحقيقة ظاهرة خطيرة تمس شريحة مهمة وهشة من شرائح المجتمع ألا وهي شريحة الأطفال والتي تلج عالم الشغل والعمل في سن مبكرة وتعمل لساعات طويلة وبأجور ضئيلة و بظروف صعبة وجد خطرة ودون توفر أدنى سبل الراحة ما ينجم عنه آثارا و نتائج اجتماعية واقتصادية ونفسية وصحية تؤثر سلبا على الطفل في الوقت الراهن وحتى في المراحل العمرية اللاحقة.
