Résumé: يدرسُ هذا البحثُ التأويلَ عند الشيخ الشنقيطي (ت:1393هـ)، في تفسيره "أضواء البيان"، وتهدفُ الدّراسة إلى تحديد دلالات مصطلح التأويل عند الشنقيطي، كما تهدفُ إلى استقراء ضوابط التأويل التي اعتمدها في كتابه، ومن أهمّ نتائج الدّراسة أنّ الدلالات اللغوية للتأويل عند الشنقيطي هي التفسير والشرح والحقيقة والمآل، كما أنّ التأويل بمعناه الاصطلاحي يجب أن يكون وفق حدودٍ وضوابطَ، وذلك لضمان الوصول للمعنى المقصود دون زيغ أو تحريف، ولدفع ما قد يكون من تلاعب بالتأويل فتنةً أو لنشر أفكار معينة. This research studies the interpretation according to Sheikh al-Shanqeeti (d: 1393H) in his interpretation of “Adwaa al-Bayan”, the study aims to determine the meanings of the term interpretation according to al-Shanqeeti, and it aims to extrapolation the controls of interpretation that he adopted in his book. One of the most important results of the study is that the linguistic meanings of the interpretation according to al-Shanqeeti is the interpretation and explanation, the truth, and the fate. In addition to that, interpretation in its idiomatic sense must be in accordance with limits and controls, in order to ensure access to the intended meaning, without aberration or alteration. And to push what may be the tamper in interpretation for the strife or spreading a specific thoughts
