An Econometric Study On The Impact Of Economic Diversification On The Economic Growth Rate In Algeria Using The Ardl Model For The Period 1990-2021."

Résumé: Abstract: This study assesses the influence of economic diversification on Algeria's economic development, employing various models spanning from the growth poles model in 1968 to the projected economic diversification model in 2030. Algeria, with its inherently rentier economy, aims to reduce reliance on unstable economic sources. Using EVIEWS software, the study examines the impact of economic diversification programs implemented from 1990 to 2021, post the decline of the socialist system. Surprisingly, the findings reveal a negative correlation between diversification efforts and economic growth. This is primarily attributed to the nation's absolute dependence on the hydrocarbon sector, the primary source of financing for economic development, due to the absence of value-added productive sectors like manufacturing. الملخص: تهدف الدراسة لقياس أثر التنويع في الاقتصاد على رفع معدل النمو الاقتصادي الذي تسعى اليه السياسة الاقتصادية من خلال تبني عدة نماذج تهدف لتحقيق النمو والإقلاع الاقتصادي انطلاقا من نموذج أقطاب النمو في 1968 ووصولا الى نموذج التنويع الاقتصادي آفاق 2030، خاصة أن الاقتصاد الجزائري ريعي بطابعه ويسعى لتقليل تبعيته لمورد النقمة الاقتصادية. ومن خلال الدراسة القياسية باستعمال برنامج EVIEWS لقياس مدى تأثير برامج التنويع الاقتصادي المتبناة في الجزائر منذ زوال النظام الاشتراكي للفترة الممتدة 1990 الى 2021 توصلنا الى سلبية التأثير للتنويع على النمو الاقتصادي في المدى القصير، ويبقى معدل النمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر مرهون بعائدات النفط التي تمثل المصدر الأول لتمويل التنمية الاقتصادية، في ظل غياب القطاعات المنتجة المدرة للقيمة المضافة كقطاع الصناعة المعملية.
