آليات الوظيفة التمييزية للفونيم في اللغة العربية
Résumé: كثيرة هي العناصر اللغوية التي تتحكّم في تغيّر الدلالة على مستوى لغتنا العربية، ولعلّ الفونيم واحد من هذه العناصر التي لها دور بارز في تحديد المعنى، والتمييز بين دلالات الألفاظ؛ سواء أكان ذلك من خلال استبدال فونيم صامت بفونيم صامت آخر، مع الاحتفاظ بحركة المُبْدَل أو تغييرها، أم عن طريق تغيير موقع الصامت داخل اللفظة الواحدة، كما قد يتمّ تغيير المعنى من خلال تغيّر حركة صامت ما بحركة أخرى على مستوى المونيم المفرد، وغيرها من الأساليب التي تعمل عملها في تحديد المعنى، وهذا ما يعرف بالوظيفة التمييزية. من هنا يمكن التساؤل فنقول: فيم تكمن آليات هذه الوظيفة التي يؤديها الفونيم؟ There exists a variety of means which control the changing of the meaning in the Arabic language. The phoneme, being one of these means, has a prominent role in specifying and differentiating between the meanings of different terms. Whether by substituting one silent letter for another (keeping and/or changing the vowel quality of the substituted silent), or by shifting the position of the silent letter within the same term. Moreover, the meaning can be changed through shifting the vowel quality of a given silent letter within the same phoneme, as well as other ways that contribute in specifying the meaning, That’s what we call the discriminatory function. From here, we can ask: What are the mechanisms of this function that phoneme performs?
