Résumé: The study aimed at finding out the relationship between the level of anxiety among students who are coming on the baccalaureate exam and the academic achievement in Laghouat city. The study also sought to know the differences between students in terms of sex (males and females) in the level of exam anxiety. : 1. Is there a correlation between the examination anxiety of a sample of students who are taking the baccalaureate exam in the city of Laghouat (specifically Al Haj Issa Secondary School) 2. Are there any statistically significant differences in the level of exam anxiety among a sample of students who pass the baccalaureate exam due to gender variable (male, female) 3 - Are there any statistically significant differences in the level of examination anxiety in the sample of students who are coming to the baccalaureate exam due to the variable status of the study (non - teacher, teacher) 4 - Are there statistically significant differences in the level of exam anxiety in the sample of the students who are coming on the baccalaureate exam due to the variable of the division (literature and philosophy, experimental sciences) and followed the two researchers in this study descriptive analytical method because the study looks at the relationship between variables and The phenomena are analyzed as they are in fact, and a questionnaire has been relied on to measure exam anxiety. Then the field study was conducted using the questionnaire (Taylor scale) after verifying their reliability and stability on the total sample of the research which is 100 students and students, which were retrieved 89 cases and then deliberately chosen in one of the secondary schools located in Laghouat. The researchers used descriptive and descriptive statistics. The statistical package for human sciences was used to process the data, and several tables were set for each variable, whether gender, specialization, or repetition. The results of the study showed that there is no positive correlation between the test anxiety variable in the study sample. The results showed that there were differences in the level of examination anxiety according to the male and female sex and ended in favor of females. And that there are differences in the level of examination anxiety according to the variable status of study (teacher, non-teacher). And ended in favor of the teacher and also there are differences in the level of examination concern according to the Division (Literature and philosophy, experimental science) and ended in favor of the Division of Arts and concluded with several suggestions
