Variation Lexicale Dans La Presse Écrite Francophone Au Maghreb
Résumé: This study focuses on French and its different practices in the Maghreb and more particularly in Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia, a geographical area where this language is in continual competition with Arabic (and its varieties), Berber, English, Spanish, etc. It is for this reason that this research is said to establish a comparative study from semasiological and onomasiological point of views. This is also an attempt to measure the inter-lexical distance between the three varieties of French language spoken by French-speaking journalists from the three Maghreb countries by means of combining linguistic approaches and statistical techniques. Correspondingly, the methodological procedure is based on a written corpus meeting spatio-temporal criteria. The author proceeds for grouping the neological lexies listed in French-speaking Maghreb newspapers then classify them according to lexicographical constructs of paper and digital versions.
