Résumé: Our work focused on one of the Ordovician formations in the Ougarta chain, which is located in the northwestern part of Algeria's Sahara. It is the Formation of Foum Ez Zeidiya. The discovery of sedimentary structures linked to various hydrodynamic currents allowed us to place this formation in its hydrodynamic framework, where we could feel the influence of storms in the placement of sand deposits, and to place it in a shallow marine environment represented by an offshore and a shoreline.
