نمطية الشخصية العربية والمسلمة في السينما الأمريكية Arab And Muslim Stereotypes In American Cinema

Résumé: تعد وسائل الإعلام من أهم أدوات صناعة الرأي العام المحلي والعالمي على حد سواء، وإحدى الوسائل السلطوية التي تعمل على تأكيد سلطة المهيمن وترسيخ نفوذه في رسم سياسات الدول وصياغة قراراتها. وتعتبر السينما الأمريكية مثالا صارخا للدور الذي تلعبه في تشكيل الرأي العام العالمي وفي توجيهه صوب خططها وأهدافها. ذلك ما يفسر إلى ما كانت تصبو إليه وسائل الإعلام الأمريكية التي عملت على تكثيف هجماتها بعد أحداث 11 سبتمبر2001 ضد العرب والمسلمين. وتوغلت في تقديم صورة مشوهة عنهم باتت مرتهنة بالعنف والتطرف. حتى أضحت قوة التماثل بين المسلم أو العربي والإرهاب صورتان متشابكتان في ذهن المتلقي. وأضحت وصمة "الإرهاب" تلاحق كل مسلم أو عربي في شتى بقاع العالم حتى في عقر داره وفي وطنه. الكلمات المفتاحية: السينما الأمريكية؛ السينما والسياسة؛ الصورة النمطية؛ العرب والمسلمين . Abstract: Media playing an increasingly important role in shaping and mobilising local and international public opinion, it is necessary to guess to what extent these American cinema are able to condition the dominant culture and therefore, the attitudes and attitudes of citizens. Thus, the danger of the media threatens when one is blinded by absolute truths and dogmatic positions that somehow lead to authoritarianism and exclusion; which are precisely the opposite of tolerance and pluralism. Indeed, after the events of September 11, 2001, Arabs and Muslims are identified in the American media, erroneously, assimilated to terrorism. Devastating effects of the repetitive image; which imprints in the consciousness of the receivers a detestable image of the Arabs, that of a cruel and terrorist people.
