خيال هوليوود وحقيقة العرب والمسلمين بعد هجمات 11 سبتمبر

Résumé: استهدفت هذه الدراسة كشف سمات المعالجة السينمائية الأمريكية لظاهرة الإرهاب بعد 11 سبتمبر 2001، وتأثير تلك المعالجة في تشكيل صورة نمطية عن العرب والمسلمين، من خلال رصد أهم الأفلام المنتجة في الحقبة المذكورة والتي تناولت ظاهرة الإرهاب المقترن بالعرب والمسلمين. خلصت الدراسة في الأخير، إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية قوية بين الإرهاب والسينما الأمريكية، ورغم تجريم سينما الإرهاب الأمريكية للفعل الإرهابي ونبذها له بأساليب مختلفة، غير أن تلك العلاقة اتجهت من خلال عديد الأفلام، نحو قَولبة الفعل الإرهابي وجعله مقترنا بالعرب والمسلمين. This study aimed to reveal the characteristics of the American cinematic treatment of terrorism after September 11, 2001, and the effect of that treatment in forming a stereotyped image of Arabs and Muslims, by monitoring the most important films produced in the mentioned era that dealt with the phenomenon of terrorism associated with Arabs and Muslims. The study concluded that there is a strong correlative relationship between terrorism and American cinema, and despite the American terrorism cinema criminalizing the terrorist act and rejecting it in different ways, this relationship, through many films, tended towards molding the terrorist act and making it associated with Arabs and Muslims.
