Résumé: This study aims to find out the extent of the intellectual capital's contribution to managing change in the organization, by conducting a descriptive study on the branch of the Faculty of Technology at Yahya Faris University - Medea -, where some information on the total of professors and students was collected before and after the split, where We have divided this study into four sections, of which three are theoretical and the last is applied, in addition to the introduction and conclusion. We have relied in this study on two variables: intellectual capital and change management. The study concluded that intellectual capital in its three types (human, structural, and relational) is the main source supporting the organization’s ability to change for the better, keep abreast of developments and maintain its competitive position. Relying on it is an inevitable necessity, and the professors ’possession of intellectual and cognitive capabilities is a strategic source for bringing about change at the level of the College of Technology, which allowed the college to meet the needs of its relational capital represented by a shiny human elite that benefits the social environment surrounding the college whose demands are increasing in the college’s specialties, as well as The professors proved their heels when they responded to Mohammed Boudiaf Hospital's need of sterile alcohol during the onslaught of the Coronavirus, and they switched from teaching to producing the sterile alcohol solution required of them. In the first topic, we dealt with the conceptual framework of intellectual capital in terms of its concept, importance, characteristics, and components, and we also got acquainted with some mechanisms of building intellectual capital, and for the second topic we got acquainted with change management (concept, types, steps, stages of change, strategies) As for the third topic, we have clarified the relationship between the two variables, and the last topic is conducting an applied study on the university in the branch of the College of Technology.
