To contribute, through its efforts in training and scientific research, along with other institutions and various sectors of development and development The nucleus of the college is the Institute of Arabic Language and Literature (1998) within the university center, and after the establishment of the University of M'sila (2001), it developed into the Department of Arabic Language and Literature and the Department of French was established, thus forming the nucleus of the college that gathered in the same year to form the College of Arts and Social Sciences, in which it was brought up. Also in (2009) the English Division, and in November 2012 the College of Letters and Languages ​​was officially established as it is now.
