Résumé: الملخص: تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى إبراز أهمية الذاكرة العاملة كعملية معرفية في حياة الأفراد مع ربطها بأحد إضطرابات التعلم والمتمثل في عسر الحساب، وذلك للدور الذي تلعبه هذه العملية المعرفية في عملية التعلم، فهي نوعا من أنواع الذاكرة تقوم بدور الاحتفاظ بالمعارف والمعلومات وتعمل على معالجتها، و تساهم في استمرار عملية التعلم وتطوره، فلا يوجد تعلم إذا لم تتراكم وتعالج الخبرات ومن ثم يحتفظ بها، وتعد مهارة الحساب من بين المهارات التي تعتمد على عمليات معرفية لتكتسب، وإذا لم تكتسب بطريقة جيدة فسوف يظهر اضطراب تعلم الحساب. ومن خلال هذا المقال سوف نتطرق إلى الذاكرة العاملة كنوع من أنواع الذاكرة، وذلك بالتركيز النظري عليها، والنماذج الرئيسية ومكوناتها، وعلاقتها بعسر الحساب.
