Résumé: Summary: The principle of legislative stability in investment contracts is one of the important and basic guarantees for the investor, as it is an important way to attract national and foreign investments to the host country for investment, and it is a principle that achieves the interests of both parties, the host country for investment and the investor alike. However, investment contracts are concluded between two parties: the country hosting the investment, and the foreign investor. And because the state is a person of public international law, enjoying the features of authority and sovereignty that allow it to individually modify or cancel its internal legislation, so they are two unequal parties.
