Résumé: Study summary The current study aims to identify the relationship between addiction to social networking sites and family connections and communications in light of the corona pandemic among the students of Yahya faraes medea’s university. The two researchers used the descriptive analytical approach exploiting a sample consisted of (80) students randomly chosen during the school year 2020/2021, and to analyze and process the data, the (Spss) statistical program was used by conducting descriptive statistical process, including: correlation coefficient with total degree, alpha coefficient Crombach, Pearson's correlation coefficient, (t-test) for one group, arithmetic means, standard deviation. After the study the researchers reached the following results: There is a strong inverse correlation with statistical significance between addiction to social networking sites and family communication in light of the Corona pandemic among students of Medea University. The results also showed that the addiction to social networking sites is high in light of the Corona pandemic among students of Medea University, while the results of communication between a student and his family were found to be low in light of the Corona pandemic, while it concluded that there are significant differences between addiction to social networking sites and family communication in the shadow of the pandemic Corona is attributed to the gender variable (male-female).
