Fractionnement De L’extrait Brut De L’amande De Balanites Aegyptiaca (l.) Delile, Avec Des Solvants De Polarité Croissante

Résumé: Balanites aegyptiaca is a tree that grows mainly in the Sahel-African countries where it is appreciated thanks to its nutritional interests and medicinal uses. In a context of valorization of this arboreal species, this study consists in a first time, to quantify the phenolic compounds of the almonds of Balanites aegyptiaca after a solid-liquid extraction in a hydro-methanol, followed by a series of liquid-liquid extractions of five fractions, hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, n-butanol and the aqueous fraction. And evaluate the antioxidant activity by the DPPH test.The extraction efficiency of the hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, n-butanol and aqueous fractions are 1.05, 1.30, 1.05, 5.77, 5.24% respectively. The total polyphenols are 0.086, 0.136, 0.151, 0.149 and 0.115 mg EAG/g MS respectively. The levels of flavonoids are 0.007, 0.006, 0.02, 0.03 and 0.001 mg EC/g MS, respectively. The contents of the condensed tannins are 0.036, 0.034, 0.029, 0.012 and 0.017 mg EC/g MS respectively. The antioxidant activity expressed as EC50 of the five fractions is 0.43, 0.41, 0.38, 0.39, 0.45, 0.013 and 0.04 mg/mL respectively.The ethyl acetate and n-butanol fractions have the highest levels of total polyphenols and flavonoids. The chloroform and hexane fractions have the highest levels of condensed tannins. The antioxidant activity expressed as EC50, showed that the ethyl acetate fraction is the most powerful of 0.38 mg/ml followed by the n-butanol fraction with an EC50 of 0.39 mg/mL, which is consistent with high levels of total polyphenols and flavonoids in these two fractions
