Résumé: Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the role of sovereign wealth funds (SWF) in the economies of oil exporting countries, and the financial situation and the performance of the Algerian sovereign wealth fund RRF in the light of oil price decline . The mains results of this study indicate that the revenue regulation fund RRF depends on a single source of financing ,and the sluggishness of the world oil market since mid-2014 led to the total depletion of fund’s financial resource.
