Impact Of E-learning On University Students
Résumé: During COVID-19 pandemic, several countries were obliged to switch their teaching programs into e-learning, where students spend long hour using electronic devices. This study aims to determine the negative impact of electronic learning on the students’ academic performance in Khemis Miliana University. A quantitative analysis was made after collecting the data. 30 Master English students in the Department of Foreign Languages in Khemis Miliana were sampled. The main research tool that was used was multiple choices questionnaire that was made up of 13 items. The data gathered from the respondents were analyzed quantitatively using Spss software. The findings demonstrate that the vast majority agree with the questions of the study. Students still prefer classroom classes over online classes due to many problems they face when taking online classes, such as lack of motivation, understanding of the material, and decrease in communication levels between the students and their instructors and their feeling of isolation caused by online classes
