Hope As A Predictor For Authentic Happiness Of The Targui In The Ahaggar-algeria
Résumé: The current study has revealed the level of both hope and authentic happiness as well as the possibility of predicting authentic happiness through hope in the Tuareg of the Ahaggar in Algeria, where the tools of the study, namely the list of authentic happiness of Seligman, and the questionnaire of hope for Snyder, were applied to a purposive sample of 150 from different regions of the Ahaggar . The adoption of the explotory descriptive methodology, and the use of the programme 22 SPSS, the questionnaire has resulted into the following: _ The level of hope is high at 74.87%, while the level of authentic happiness is acceptable at 52.33%. _ Hope has predicted 55.7% of authentic happiness. The results of the study were discussed through the theoretical side and previous studies, and concluded with some suggestions directed to scholars and specialists in the field of study.
