The Relationship Between Oil Price Shocks, Inflation Rate And Economic Growth
Résumé: Summary: This study examined the relationship between oil price shocks, inflation rate and economic growth in Algeria from 1971 – 2016. Therefore, we used the NARDL model. The estimated model revealed the existence of nonlinear effect of oil price on inflation. Plus a significant relation between oil price increases and inflation rate, On the other hand, a significant relation between oil price reduction and the inflation was absent. الملخص: تهدف هذه الورقة إلى دراسة العلاقة بين صدمات أسعار النفط، التضخم والنمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر خلال الفترة 1971 – 2016 باستخدام منهجية الانحدار الذاتي للفجوات الزمنية الموزعة الغير خطي (NARDL). كشفت نتائج التقدير عن وجود تأثير غير خطي لسعر النفط على التضخم، بالإضافة إلى وجود علاقة قوية بين ارتفاع أسعار النفط ومعدل التضخم، في حين تغيب هذه العلاقة عند انخفاض أسعار النفط.
